Subject: Mach3 And KFlop Are Laughing At Me....
Today I did a fresh install of Mach3, and KMotion v428. Most things just came up and worked right off the bat, but for some reason coolant is not working. Coolant is on I/O3. I have it configured as Output#3 in Mach3, on Port 10, Pin 3. But it won't turn on. However, if I go into KMotion, and SetBit 3, it works fine. Any ideas where I should look?

Everything came up easily - the axes all move, my pendant works, the spindle PWM code works. Didn't have this problem when I installed 428x.

Less important, I can't seem to make my probe input to be "visible" to the KFlop. It's in I/O5. I do have it configured as an input in my Init, and configured for Port10 Pin 5 in Mach3. Worked fine in KMotionCNC last time I tried. It works fine under Mach3 with SmoothStepper, so it's not something wrong with the hardware. But KFlop never sees the pin change state.

Regards,
Ray L.

Hi Ray,

It should be port 1 in Mach3 not 10.

Also are the bits working from KFLOP?
